Wood Lake Birdathon

In order to more accurately record the birds which spend the summer and breed at this City of Richfield nature center, the Wood Lake Nature Center is holding an event on three consecutive Saturdays this June for birders who wish to help collect data and win great prizes.

Birders will be using the coding from the Breeding Bird Atlas statewide program from Audubon Minnesota to record their observations. Registered Birders will be eligible to win or earn great prizes including a land package to the Blue Tang Inn in Belize as well as prizes from REI, the Wild Birding Store, Borders Books of Richfield, Country Ways and more.

Registration costs are $50.00 for all three days. MEMBER DISCOUNTS: Pay only $40.00 for members of any of the Audubon Minnesota chapters, MOU, Wild Bird Stores Frequent Flyer program or Friends of Wood Lake (FOWL) Cost is only $35.00 for members of both Audubon and FOWL.
