Join us for a bird walk during the nesting season or early fall bird migration. With the variety of habitats at the Refuge, it makes it possible to observe over 110 species of birds nesting on the Refuge. Then by early July, we will get to observe some of the first fall migrants as they pass through the Refuge on their migration south. You will learn about some of the bird species that nest on the Refuge and those that begin their migration south during the summer season. With luck we will be able to observe a wide variety of these birds.

Birders of all skill levels are welcome on these walks. Bring along binoculars, field guide and dress appropriately for the weather.
