MRVAC awards grants to non-profit or educational organizations that support its mission of providing leadership in promoting environmental awareness, education and advocacy action, especially relating to the wildlife and habitats of the Minnesota River Valley. Priority will be given to grant requests that benefit wildlife, especially birds and avian habitat; that support its legacy projects and projects within MRVAC’s membership territory; and that have an education component, especially for children. At the completion of the grant project, applicants must agree to document to MRVAC how well the project met its goals, and allow MRVAC to share news about the project with the public.
