This tour will begin in the city of San Jose, where we will spend our first night. On the second day of the tour, we will transfer by bus to Selva Verde Lodge and Rainforest Reserve, where we will spend three nights. Durig are three days at Selva Verde Lodge, we will have time to spend birding the lodges grounds and also travel to the Tirimbina Biological Reserve and La Selva Biological Station. The next destination on the tour is the Savegre Hotel Natural Reserve & Spa. One of the highlights here will be a search for the Resplendent Quetzal. Some of the locations nearby that we will stop at include the Nectar and Pollen Reserve, the Batsu Garden and the upper trails at the Savegre Hotel, accessed via 4×4 vehicles. Some of the species of birds we will be searching for include, Resplendent Quetzal, Great Green Macaw, Sunbittern, Snowcap, Talamanca, Volcano and Scintillant Hummingbirds.
