This tour begins and ends in the Ecuadorian City of Guayaquil and covers some of Southern Ecuador’s better birding locations. Some of those locations that we will visit are the Manglares Churute Ecological Reserve, Buenaventura, Jorupe Reserve, Tapichalaca Reserve, the Loja-Zamora Road, Podocarpus National Park and Cajas National Park. A few of the species of birds that we will search for include, the El Oro Parakeet & El Oro Tapaculo, Long-wattled Umbrellabird, Jocoto, Rufous & Chestnut-crowned Antpitta’s. Plus, a nice mix of Hummingbirds, Tanagers and other Tropical species of birds.
