In 2021 and 2022 MRVAC awarded grants to a Girl Scout for her Gold Award project and a Boy Scout for his Eagle Scout project for purchasing materials for bluebird nest boxes. Each Scout worked with the city of Burnsville to install bluebird trails in local parks.
